Minecraft Usernames

This page lists limitations and other issues with choosing usernames.

Names Cannot Contain Spaces

Minecraft usernames cannot contain spaces (at least on the PE Server - i haven't investigated this further).

If a user changes their username, they will not be able to connect to the world, and the server will throw an error on the console such as:

  15:43:18 [INFO] slender man [/X.X.X.X:XX] logged out due to Bad username

Fix the username, and it will work.
